Bryan Adams sings "This Time"

THE SONG

You all remember "Cuts Like a Knife", from Adams' third (!) album "Cuts Like A Knife". Big hit, made it to #15. Surprisingly, though, the song "Straight From the Heart" charted higher at #10.

"This Time" came out in August 1983,  some time before his megahits "Run to You" and "Heaven" and eons before his mostly terrible output of the 90's. Also before his hair went all crazy.

Key lyrics:

"I think about her all the time
She's my fantasy
An image burnin' in my mind
Callin' out to me"

THIS IS HOMESTYLE ROCK N ROLL SO WE DROPPED THE  G!!!!

THE VIDEO

Black and white. Bryan Adams checks into a motel that looks like it's in the Midwest but is probably in Manitoba or something. At any rate, its remoteness is indicated by a broken wooden fence. Disembodied woman legs keep appearing to haunt Bryan as he hangs out. The legs let the air out of his tires. Bryan is angry but then horny as he climbs into the back of his truck to sex those legs but good.

SO IS THIS SONG ANY GOOD?

It's not terrible, but I doubt anyone would miss it if it were removed from all karaoke playlists. Not sure if Adams still plays it live, but I doubt it.
